intestine boy
Here's Intestine Boy... along with a view of the back of the card. I almost spend as much time designing the backs as I do the fronts.
I started designing the backs when I realized how much fun it was ... not just to create, but to receive cards that had thoughtful designs on both sides. And because I keep my cards in clear 9-pocket sleeves the backs become part of the lovely package.
What do you think? And what do you add (if anything) to the backs of your ATCs?

I've always loved the backs of your ATCs. I tend to just put a title, date, material, name, and contact info on the back of my cards. This is usually because I'm so sick of them towards the end that I just want to be done with them.

I usually include a title, my name, email address, sometimes materials or techniques, and whether it is one of a kind or part of an edition. I agree that it is more enjoyable to receive a card with a backside that is tied in to the mood of the atc (I also store mine in the plastic sleeves). I try to put extra thought and time into the backs of my atc's, but it just depends on the day.

I don't do anything special on the backs of mine. Usually just date and sign and what group or swap it is for. I am always impressed though when I get a card with a nice back.

Intestine Boy is fab! I usually don't do anything cool to the backs of my ATCs. But now that you mention it, I love when I get one with a designed back. I may have to alter the way I do mine from now on.

yes, i think it's super cool to have an interesting back. sometimes i decorate them, and sometimes i merely sign/title mine + add my web url.

I just cheated and got one of those ATC stamps with lines for title, name, addy etc.--for the atc class I'm teaching. I thought it might help them feel more "professional." kelli

Years and years ago, one of the members of a list I was on uploaded an ATC back that was editable in Word to the list.
I saved a copy to my hard drive, and have used it since.
